OMG!!!!! I'm Featured!!! Yipeeeee!!!

So Hey MY LOVIES!!!

I've had a SUPER ROUGH week of classes!!!! I am unfortunately behind in one class and must catch up this weekend! I also MUST start outlining ASAP.

So let me tell you all about my Friday..............

First, I had planned on finishing my paper and going back to my apt to sleep!<----That DIDN'T happen :( (I'm so gosh darn tired!)

So then I found out via Twitter that Carol's Daughter was having a Curl Clinic at the mall near my school @ 6pm.. By the time I found this out it was 3p....so I rushed back to my apt to drop my books and wash my hair quick! I also had to do some shopping...but i'll get to that...

So I get to my room and my roommate is in the shower FOREVER!!! So I decide to run to Walmart for conditioner and such and then run to Target(I favor Target over Walmart but it was crunch time)

At this time it's 5:45pm I asked 2 ppl count em' 2 ppl to call me to get me out of the store-NO ONE called!!!! Highly frustrated!

I then stop at the dollar store (yea I know) & am ready to pay for my stuff when the woman in line in front of me is a real-life HOARDER, she has 2 carts FULL of cleaning stuff and baby wipes (odd?)

I finally get out and rush back to the apt, parked my car illegally and leave my ice cream MELTING on the floor in my room!!!! (yes I know)

Then I get to the mall, mind you I never been to this particular mall so I park a million miles away! and Carol's Daughter is all the way next to Nordstrom-literally 2.5 miles away!!!! I finally get there after power walking in sandals! AND Guess What!!????

..............The Clinic is (drumroll please!) CANCELED!!!! Talk about a LET DOWN!!!

Style:Twist-Recreation

Hey All!!!

Just wanted to post pics of the process I did when I recreated the style I wore for the wedding in the previous post.

Process:
I washed the twist with Castile soap and conditioned with Giovanni Tea Tree
I then sprayed Aveeno leave-in and untwisted each twist
I then detangled, re-twisted with Taliah Waajid lock gel & rodded each twist and went to bed!





In the morning I took out the rods but some were still wet so in some of the pics I still have rods in.......

Hey Everyone!

SO this week has been hectic and exhausting.....Law school is NO JOKE!!! Which is to be expected. However, I am soooooo overwhelmed and discouraged its ridiculous! Hopefully I'll stick to this!

In other news..........

I go to school in NY but I'm from Bmore.....So I don't have any friends here. It's definitely hard moving to a new environment where you know NO ONE and on top of that....the work load is HUGE! and people are extremely stand-offish (Idk if its a Long Island thing or what! Then again people from other states (that are here) are the same way)

See....I'm a very shy person and it's difficult to approach people because of this. Don't get me wrong, I do approach people and ask questions to strike up a convo but eventually its like I'm the only one asking questions-getting to know them and they do NOT reciprocate!! Which makes me feel like there is something wrong with ME!

I am a very nice person, very quiet, and shy but SUPER bubbly and openminded yet I don't understand why people are so stand-offish....... I just don't get it!!

Can someone enlighten me??

Hey Everyone!!!! Its been almost 2 yrs since I've posted! And much...yet not much has changed!!

I am definitely going to try to consistently update this blog. I am currently writing a paper and thought I should get back into blogging!

So previously, I was working for an animal shelter which I loved & loathed! I have since left and went into the corporate world, working for an insurance company. I have since left that company as well!!! And...........Viola! I'm in LAW SCHOOL!

So since I have time on my hands (that's a lie, I need to be hitting the books right now!)...I will definitely put a SUPER effort into updating.

I am changing the subject matter of my blog.....though it will still be a platform of advocacy for animals, environment, natural & green living, etc. It will also be about my journey of transitioning from Relaxed Hair to NATURAL (Non-chemical) Hair!:)

I am also COMPLETELY-Mind, Body, & Spirit "going natural"! And I want to help and learn from others in the process!!!!
